  • Senior Digital Technology Lead

    The Senior Digital Technology Lead position will support digital technology strategy development and delivery for PJA, our clients and business development efforts. The Technology Lead will provide technical leadership for the agency, enabling PJA teams to reliably deliver innovative digital marketing solutions with excellence.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Passionately advocate for opportunities to support innovative marketing programs with digital technologies
    • Provide leadership and management for digital development team during all phases of client engagements, including technology strategy, technical requirements development, technical architecture, development, final delivery and optimization
    • Identify and evaluate technologies relevant to enabling digital marketing campaigns and platforms for our clients, including (but not limited to) CMS, site and application development frameworks, front-end presentation technologies, e.g., Flash, Flex, Papervision, etc., mobile web and application development, 3rd party APIs, analytics tools, optimization tools, marketing campaign automation platforms, etc.
    • Manage the ongoing evolution of PJA’s in/outsourced development model for best mix of quality, reliability, efficiency and agency profitability

    • Interact effectively with senior clients, agency teams and agency partners to align expectations and outcomes with business and marketing objectives

    Required skills:
    • College degree
    • 7+ years relevant experience, including agency/consulting firm experience
    • Experience with broad range of range of digital development and delivery technologies, from front-end (HTML, Flex) to back-end (PHP required, .NET optional) development knowledge
    • Selection, planning, integration, change management and support experience with a range of CMS solutions, including home grown and open source solutions (including Drupal and Wordpress) as well as commercial offerings
    • Experience with multiple development languages, as a backdrop for evaluating different technologies for the particular needs of each project
    • Working knowledge in at least one database, including schema design and data management
    • Working knowledge of Google Analytics integration; Omniture integration a plus
    • Use of APIs for social network integration; XML communication
    • Demonstrated personal and professional interest in and experience with social media

  • Front-end developer

    We are seeking a front-end developer to develop and implement digital experience designs for a variety of different kinds of project from Web sites to HTML email campaigns to animated banners. The qualified candidate will be able to collaborate with designers and art directors, developers and project managers in order to deliver the best possible product with the fewest surprises along the way, and will demonstrate a commitment to design, development, and deployment excellence.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Develop clean, portable front-end code for range of agency projects, including Web sites, landing pages, banner ads, email. and lightweight applications

    • Passionately advocate for opportunities to support innovative digital marketing experiences with digital technology

    • Work with internal teams, external back-end implementers and client teams to ensure technology requirements are established and followed

    • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure code delivers on full potential of agency’s creative product

    • Apply either creative or technical focus depending on project requirements

    • Contribute to technical and functional specifications documents

    • Develop style guide components, prototypes and proofs of concept

    • Keep skills up-to-date in core technologies; research and learn emerging technologies

    • Manage your progress on project deliverables against project timelines, balancing overlapping project schedules

    Required skills:

  • Group Account Director

    The ideal Group Account Director candidate(s) will possess a strong combination of demonstrated strategic leadership as well as on- and off-line integrated communications skills. A proven team leader who believes in the power of effective collaboration with internal partners is also essential. Excellent written and oral communication skills are critical, along with ability to manage an integrated team of communications professionals, including multiple Account Directors and Account Managers.     Requirements:

    • 10-15 years experience of working within an agency, potentially in combination with client-side experience
