How I see Phil Johnson, CEO

You need to know four things about Phil. He's an excellent host, very funny storyteller, and Bob Dylan fan. And he started PJA in 1988 because technology companies needed help telling complex stories that weren't stripped of emotion. He's seen us through changes in the economy, in the agency, and in the use of media – with honesty, humor, and a steady supply of donuts. You can read all about life here in his blogs for AdAge's Small Agency Diary. Phil also gets us noticed, winning the BtoB Agency of the Year three years running. These days he's busy expanding the agency and advising clients on how to use social media to their best advantage. If you have a chance to have dinner with Phil, take it. He knows the best places to eat and you won't notice the time until waiters are putting the chairs up on the tables.
