I took a twisting road to strategy via creative, and luckily my role at PJA has allowed me to combine my love for both – two ways of thinking that deliver amazing results together.
My career has spanned the media, digital, and advertising worlds – with a consistent focus on sophisticated brands, audiences, and subject matter. My first marketing gig was for a high-end inn in Vermont, where launching a newsletter series taught me the value of engaging content. I cut my teeth in the early days of digital marketing while working in publishing, running email campaigns and launching one of the first websites created to promote a textbook. At Sapient, I developed site content strategies for top brands like Chase Manhattan and Fila.
I started at PJA as a senior copywriter, eventually becoming a creative director and then transitioning to strategy. I think that’s why I’m drawn to storytelling, whether it’s for creating a distinctive brand positioning or architecting a campaign as a journey of persuasion and action. Along the way, I’ve worked for clients across technology, life sciences, and financial services – including Bangor Savings Bank, Bluebird Bio, Corning Life Sciences, Infor, Thomson Reuters, Tracfone and Yahoo!.
Otherwise, I stay occupied playing lead guitar in a cover band (80s alternative is my musical sweet spot) and marveling at our twin daughters.
