Integrated Associate Media Director

The Associate Media Director’s role is one of leadership and management. You’ll provide strategic media direction for your assigned accounts and understand all aspects of your clients’ businesses including their industry and competitive set. You’ll oversee and manage more junior members of the team, as well as manage relationships and collaborate in strategic thinking with other internal teams. You’ll also lead client communication and be responsible for account profitability.

Responsibilities / Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years agency experience (with 5 years managing a team)
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, relationship building and communications skills
  • Knowledge of integrated marketing and best practices, which includes staying on top of the newest digital trends and building mutually beneficial marketplace relationships
  • Demonstrate an ability to think strategically and sell ideas along with agency capabilities to current and prospective clients
  • Manage expectations of clients and deliverables as well as account/department profitability
  • Supervise, direct and review the development and implementation of media plans
  • Understanding of media execution, tracking, billing, and research tools
  • Play an integral part in growing agency business by contributing to new business pitches
  • Effectively motivate staff, evaluate performance and provide on-going feedback on effective productivity to develop career paths for advancement
